Data we collect
We collect the following data when you use Samtalekort: • Account information: Name, email, and password when you create an account (via Supabase Auth) • Payment information: Processed directly by Stripe – we do not store your card number • Usage data: Which cards you draw, your streaks, and awards (via PostHog analytics) • User-generated content: The card decks and cards you create • Technical data: Browser type, device type, and IP address
How we use your data
We use your data to: • Provide and improve the service • Process payments and manage subscriptions • Save your progress, streaks, and awards • Send email notifications (if you have opted in) • Analyze usage data to improve the experience • Prevent misuse of the service
Cookies
We use the following cookies: • NEXT_LOCALE: Stores your preferred language (expires after 1 year) • Supabase Auth cookies: Required for login • PostHog cookies: For anonymized usage analytics (can be opted out) • Stripe cookies: Required during the payment process
Third parties
We share data with the following third parties: • Supabase (EU): Database hosting and authentication • Stripe: Payment processing • PostHog (EU): Anonymized analytics • Vercel: Web app hosting We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Data storage
Your data is stored on servers in the EU (Supabase and PostHog). We retain your data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights: • Right of access: You can request a copy of your data • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data • Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your data • Right to restriction: You can ask us to restrict the processing of your data • Right to data portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format • Right to object: You can object to the processing of your data Contact us at hej@samtalekort.com to exercise your rights. Children
Samtalekort is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has shared personal data with us, please contact us at hej@samtalekort.com.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
